I’m a 21F Belgian citizen, I can travel under the WVP and my ESTA is still valid.
I went to the US 4 times with an ESTA for tourism purposes and I never have been denied entry.
I recently decided I’m gonna study a short course in the US for more than 3 months.
I applied for the B2 Visa thinking it was the visa I needed.
I applied for the wrong visa.
A mistake on my part. A stupid mistake.
The officer said I need to apply for an M1 visa. I’m in the process of getting one.
However, I still need to go the US.
Can I still travel for tourism until I get my M1 visa ?
Will I get denied entry because of this denial ?
Can I just explain to them that I applied for the wrong visa and that I’m getting an M1 visa ?
Can I show them that I have a M1 visa interview appointment to prove that I’m going back ?
Will they tell me to not come to the US until I get an M1 visa ?
I’m stressing out.
I apologize for the millions of questions.
