I am trying to apply for a transit visa in Saudi Arabia.
I will only stay at the airport for less than 8 hours and then exit the country. I will have to re-check my baggage though and I will need a visa for that.
visa.visitsaudi.com website does not have a transit option, only a regular visa, which is valid for a year and costs 130 eur.
website has a transit option, but it offers only an option of duration of 30 days and says, that I will additionally be charged regular government visa charge. After googling for a bit this seems to be around 80 eur, plus some other fees and in the end I will have to pay 100 eur for a short stop.
Did anyone manage to obtain a transit visa, and if so, is it really that expensive?FYI, I am citizen of Slovenia and arriving there with Wizzair from Venice.
