My boyfriend and I are both in university and visiting Brussels for about four days in the last week of September this year. My boyfriend is a MASSIVE history lover and knows practically everything there is to know about the history of almost every region in the world. Lucky for him, I quite love it too although i’m not nearly as well versed. I’d love to get recommendations on stuff to do and places to visit while we’re there. Doesn’t have to be in Brussels but preferably not too far.

I would like to do something adventurous so we were considering doing the hike (day hike) between the Castle of Vêves and Walzin, as I found that to be quite interesting and beautiful. However I don’t have that much hiking experience so is it a relatively difficult one? Any other hikes that you’d like to recommend as well as other activities and places are also welcome! Thank you!
