Do any of ya’ll ever create mockups or full-on sites just for fun? I don’t mean anything complex, but just because you have a creative itch and it’s fun to puzzle things / see things come together in the end?
I used to love creating designs / sites when I was (much) younger, just for the Hell of it. No real purpose, it was just fun for me. I guess it felt like a form of art to me, it was just enjoyable. But now that I’m an adult with financial worries, I feel like, what’s the point of it? I’m not making money from it, it’s just going to be something that ends up in a black hole. Why spend all that effort, when I’m not selling anything, no one’s going to see it, and the sites / mockups have no point?
I dunno, guess I’m in a weird headspace lately. Let me know, is it all-business for you? Or do you get a creative itch and run with it?
