Ok, first of all, I have dual-boot on the same specs, running Windows 11 (never had a single crash), and Ubuntu (latest LTS version).

I use Ubuntu because I want to seprate my job stuff (developer things) from personal (games and etc…), also Windows is better for games and recreative activities.

But I can’t use Ubuntu properly anymore, it just crashes, keep asking for updates every single time, a huge inconsistent notifications push (I updated my Ubuntu and I had the notification “See the new changes” in the next 10 times I booted).

Honestly, I only use this crap because of the support of developer community is always more focused for linux, because NO FUCKING WAY this is a realiable OS to use.

I don’t know if anyone here have a solution for this hell, the only things I’ve tried was Ubuntu (GNOME) and Kubuntu, both are trash, frequent crashes, a lot of weird bugs.

Some people said that Linux kernel doesn’t deal well with AMD processors, well, that’s the so called better than Windows OS? This shit can’t even deal with a different processor? I’m really pissed off.

My specs:

AMD Ryzen 7-5800H

RAM 16GB 3200mhz

256GB SSD NVME (dual-boot) + 512GB SSD NVME (only games)

GTX 1650 4GB
