Novice Ubuntu guy here. Can’t figure out why my nic crashes. I thought maybe it was the onboard Realtek network card, so I replaced it with a new TP-link nic. The nic interface still crashes at random time. using this system as my plex server. From the logs I see:

06:59:42 kernel: r8169 0000:04:00.0 enp4s0: Can’t reset secondary PCI bus, detach NIC

Aug 6 15:19:39 systemd: Failed to start app-gnome-user\x2ddirs\x2dupdate\x2dgtk-4599.scope - Application launched by gnome-session-binary.

Aug 6 15:19:37 gdm-session-wor: gkr-pam: unable to locate daemon control file

Aug 6 15:19:22 (uetoothd): src/plugin.c:plugin_init() Failed to init bap plugin

Aug 6 15:19:20 systemd-udevd: event_source: Failed to get device name: No such file or directory

Any guidance on where to start drilling? Tried googling the first line. but not sure of the results

–Thanks.
