So I have a Ryzen 7 5700x and a rx 6700xt with my motherboard being the msi b450 tomahawk (not the max version). I have another motherboard that supports amd and it is the gigabyte b450m dsh3. I also have a whole build with that motherboard as a second pc but I wanted to see if I can have the “better” motherboard on my main gaming pc. I have recently got into overclocking my main gaming pc and noticed that I had to use the amd Ryzen master to get the most out of my CPU but when I had the idea to oc the second pc I had I noticed that it was already pushing well over 4.0 ghz without any oc on a Ryzen 5 3600. Now I’m not too aware if its because the Ryzen 7 has an x and the Ryzen 5 doesn’t or if it is because of the motherboard doing something different. I hope that this isn’t too dumb of a question. On another note I haven’t been able to get to the bios of the gigabyte board through the keyboard inputs so would I have to remove the m.2 drive I have installed in order to just get straight to the bios?
