As mentioned in the title, I’m wanting to switch career routes from IT audit/cyber risk. My current role is considered a cyber risk audit and I’ve been able to move up on my team for two years now. Previously, I worked in Big 4 for IT audit for a little over a year. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve been able to learn & accomplish over these past few years, but I’m wanting to switch over to a cybersecurity role in IAM. I had an IAM internship before graduating and loved that! I am a senior analyst now, so is it possible to make that switch? Would it make sense to still move forward with getting my CISA if I do switch?
