Nobody on r/SteamDeck was able to find a solution to my problem. I recently reset my device in order to try fix some system lag I was having and then decided to try install something via pacman in the konsole. But when i try to run “sudo pacman-key --init” and any following pacman commands I get this message “gpg: WARNING: running with faked system time: 2023-01-01 00:00:00” and I cannot for the life of me find a solution online after 10+ hours searching. any help would be highly appreciated. oh and this is fresh after the system reset so I haven’t done a single other thing to the device other than simply downloading games off steam and apps through the discovery store.

Update: every installation fails due to not being able to create folders for example here’s a random piece of info from konsole: “warning: warning given when extracting /usr/share/man/ (Can’t create ‘/usr/share/man’)” this happens so many times that I cant even scroll back up to the command that I typed in for it to happen. that is the shortest example, it happens with every file I’m attempting to download.

Update 2: I had my device replaced due to this and other issues.
