So, my ex-girl and I got into an argument one day, and she told me she was done and that didn’t even want to be friends anymore. I told her she was gonna miss me when I’m gone and all the things I do for her, and she told me I was “gaslighting” her. Is this true?

If I was gaslighting her… I wasn’t aware of it, nor was it my intention. I was just stating what I believed to be true. Most people would miss someone if they treated them as well as I treated that girl and loved them unconditionally like I did — that was why I said that. But… of course, she instantly accused me of trying to “gaslight her”.

What are your thoughts?

(And although this is irrelevant, keep in mind this is the same girl who I ended up leaving because she slept with a bunch of my coworkers. She also had a lot of mental health issues and drank every day.)
