Howdy!

I’m moving into a new home and looking at 5.1 with in wall sub w/separate amp, in wall center channel, 4 in ceiling speakers, and AVR/AVC for living room/tv space. Not really good space for L/R in wall

or box speakers.

My first thought was Klipsch for life but after poking around I recognize that there is better value found elsewhere. I hope to watch HDR movies and listen to music.

I poked around and put together a quick speaker list:

SUB:

Monitor Audio IW S10 + WA250 ~ 1250

Center:

Focal IW LCR5 ~ $300

or

Monitor Audio W150 LCR ~ $435

Possibly Focal IW LCR6 but I dont know if the price is worth it.

In Ceiling:

4X Focal ICW 5 ~ $800

AMP:

Denon AVR-S660H,-S670H ~  $500/$550

Does not include cables, cable jacks, not included brackets, or install.

Do these numbers/speakers make sense for the 13’X13’ living room?

Are there cheaper alternatives/somewhere I should put more money for value? I am not good at grabbing deals, but I am patient enough to wait.

What would the total cost look like with this equipment?

Do y’all have a setup in mind for a lower range 5.1 speaker setup?

First time poster thanks!
