I was hasty to buy the game because I had the idea that I absolutely hated turn based games. I decided to buy it anyways cause of the trailers and that everyone seemed so joyful about it.

I took an hour to make my character then I started playing for 20m right after the ship crash and slept on it. I had played for about 90m and was thinking about a refund so I got on the BG3 reddit and everyone was happy and gave it another go since I get paid in less than a week so the expense wouldn’t matter anyway.

My God. I was dumbfounded and joyful of what a good game it is, the graphics, stories, immersion, the anxiety at every dice throw, the endless possibilities, the hatred I feel towards some characters, and the love I got to feel for others even though I was skeptical (looks towards Shadowbae), that made me overlook the turn based system and I am actually enjoying it quite a bit.

Thanks to the amazing community of DnD and BG3 for being so positive and, in an indirect way convincing me for this cool experience!
