I used to work with PHP on my first job for a few months (pure PHP and also Laravel), and for the last two years I’ve been programming in golang professionally, so I’m guess I can call myself a somewhat experienced backend developer. And now I’m thinking of transitioning back to PHP world, but not sure where to start honestly.
What would you say are the essential/desired skills and tech for a PHP dev in 2023? It might be some state of the art stuff as well as something practical that my potential employers would want to see. This could apply specifically to PHP or backend in general (tho I’m probably familiar with most of it already), from infrastructure/deployment down to preferred frameworks and libraries.
Thanks!
