For several reasons I have a lot of flies in the house, especially kitchen.

I own these fly traps and in theory they work - a little. Flies have the tendency to get out again, but that is another topic.

What this construction lacks is warmth. The weather here is a little bitte autumny at the moment so the flies tend to search for warm areas, such as a running dishwasher or a kettle that has been used before.

If I could add a source of warmth that would improve this device a lot. I thought of putting one of these handwarmers inside that you have to cook and then they can be activated, but I cannot find any in my home. Now I am wondering, do you have any ideas for warming this thing up, so that flies find it comfortable to sit on with something one might have inside the house?

PS: I know, the ideal lifehack would be not to let the doors open or buy working fly traps but this is not what I am looking for at the moment. I want to try to improve what I already have (and I want to prove to friends and family that this thing is not completely crap :D )
