I found out about her after her feature on Denzel. I’d heard some of her songs before randomly but never got curious enough to look her up until her verse on HOT ONE.

Her music sounds a bit samey IMO, but her talent is undeniable; she’s got flow, lyrics, and charisma. Also… She’s newgen, no denying that.

I strongly dislike the majority of mainstream fem rappers out right now (Cardi B, Megan, Sexxy Red) but I think Tia has some gems.

Thoughts?

    She’s pretty good, though I was not feeling her song on The Cave at all. I agree she has undeniable talent, I think she’s just not for me.

    Don’t like Cardi or Red but I kinda like Megan. I also unironically love a lot of Flyana Boss’ fun music. Simz is one of the greatest, too. - not sure if you consider her mainstream or not

    Just out of curiosity (for comparison I guess), who are your favorite rappers lately? I haven’t saved a ton of hip hop to my library in the past few months:

      I’m not too into Flyana but they’re not half-bad. I remember them blowing up on TikTok. I do love Simz too but don’t see her as mainstream.

      Right now, my favourite rappers are MF DOOM, Kendrick, Denzel, and Tyler. For a few weeks now I’ve had King Geedorah on repeat, pretty much. Is that basic? lol I also like A-F-R-O.

      If we’re talking women then I’m big on Little Simz and Doja, but that’s about it really. I’ve listened to some Noname and liked it, as well.

      I’ll check those out!

        I just think Flyana is really fun, they aren’t gonna win any songwriting awards lol

        DOOM and Denzel are two of my favs but I actually haven’t heard of Geedorah so I’ll have to check them out!
