When you go against the hivemind by making a comment which requires a nuanced interpretation, instead you get labeled a conservative because it’s easier and requires less thought.
Yeah. That’s exactly how shit goes down here if you stand in the way of all the manufactured outrage. These people actually want to be angry.
And the moment you try and illustrate how things like blanket generalizations and hive-minded black-and-white thinking are actually contrary to the concept of free thinking, you end up ironically becoming the villain of their little stories.
