Day 9 of #RomanceAwarenessMonth
Back in the day, romance books were all about boy meets girl; which is great but isn’t it fantastic to read more diverse and inclusive stories now? One of my fave #ACERepresention romance novels is “Blank Spaces” by Cass Lennox. It is MM; opposites attract.
Please share your #ACERepresentation recs in the comments! Thank you in advance.
@Diva007 @romancelandia @romancebooks the first time I figured out it was an #acespectrum was reading Hot Licks by A.M. Arthur. It’s a steamy M/M/M read, but one of the heroes is demi. It helped me to figure out I’m likely demi myself. I’m still searching out more, but here are some faves (all demi rep):
Kiss Her Once For Me by Alison Cochrun – F/F.
Role Playing by Cathy Yardley – M/F, late in life realization.
Paint the Stars by Christina Lee and Nyrae Dawn – M/M.@Diva007 @romancelandia @romancebooks also, there was ace rep in a side character in Once & Future by A.R. Capetta & Cori McCarthy – along with L, G, and NB rep. It was fun. Still need to read book 2.
@lenoreo I’ll add all of your recs to my list! TY!
@lenoreo @Diva007 @romancelandia @romancebooks My M/M/M series doesn’t hone in on specific labels much in the text, but one of the mains is very much demi (partly by upbringing but mainly by temperament) and another is mainly ace but finds sex a useful form of rebellion.
Then there’s the one who’s gay but engaged to a woman and two-timing with a straight guy.
Their collective sexuality is MESS.

@pelielios Thank you! I’ve just bought the series.
@Diva007 @lenoreo @romancelandia @romancebooks I hope you enjoy them! A lot of the explanations are very slow in coming but at its core, it’s a group of wildly different people who all care deeply about each other.
@lenoreo Thanks for these recs!
