Hello,

I’ll be going to Hradec Králové for next year’s winter term. The mobility program will pay me 70000 CZK for the whole term and I’m worried it won’t be enough, so it would probably be nice to have a part-time job.

Any info on how/where to work there as a foreigner student that doesn’t speak Czech? I’m going in February, so I have some time to study the language, but I doubt I will get very proficient with it using Duolingo.

Also interested in any advices about living there and travelling to other places in the Czech Republic and the rest of Europe.

Additional info:

  • The university dorms costs about 120 CZK/day
  • I’m studying History, and currently work in a museum and with IT (kind of functional analysts)

Thanks 😁
