“Canadian trucker problem” Monero fixes that, right?

If Monero can be a solution then it should prove itself when the time comes, not “in hindsight.”

People need basic necessities like water. Can Monero address the problem?

    well they can’t drink Monero.

Think about it: how would they buy food with Monero, and how would they rebuild their houses and lives with it?

    maybe once, but not today

    WDYM?
Can XMR somehow make water appear out of nowhere? No, it cannot…
Can XMR be used to donate to people who need it? Yes, it can.

How are they gonna get your Money with no electricity? How are they gonna turn it back to fiat to buy food? No. I can’t be used.

Well, yes, you can’t use any digital currency if you don’t have electricity/internet, XMR is not magic 🙃
But nothing prevents you from sending XMR to someone who organizes fundraising (e.g. for buying & delivering water to those who need it) from a place where they have electricity and internet access.

XMR is digital cash. How does putting cash in someone’s pocket help them in a disaster? It’s a transfer of value that no government can prevent, but how does it actually help those affected?
