While our roads didn’t need to last thousands of years (like some of the Roman roads still in Europe), it would be nice for some of ours to be better. If you take a drive in Europe on a highway, pay attention to the difference. Even the crappier roads are smooth. US roads have you bumping up and down because they’re made by the cheapest fucks that would do the job.
