“My name is Żbik Capitan Żbik This is Nowa Huta I will not let this happen”

“Be careful boy”

Żbik was w member of the Polish militia (basically just police) from a popular comic series created during Polish People’s Republic

more context: “The culmination occurred on November 22, 1989. Several hundred protesters gathered at the monument, throwing containers of paint at it under the slogan of giving Lenin a ‘makeover,’ destroying a nearby police booth, placing a toilet at the foot of the monument, and setting the monument on fire. The protest ended with an intervention by the riot control units of the Citizens’ Militia (ZOMO) sent to defend the monument. […] Ultimately, however, under pressure from protesters and fearing an escalation of events, on December 10, 1989—three days before the anniversary of the imposition of martial law—the monument was dismantled and then transported to a fort in Wróblowice, where it was stored for the next three years. In 1992, the monument was sold for 226.1 million złoty to Swedish millionaire Bengt Erlandsson, who placed it in his western-themed amusement park, High Chaparral, in the town of Värnamo near Stockholm.” https://pl.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomnik_Włodzimierza_Lenina_w_Nowej_Hucie
