I still cringe a small bit when saying or even thinking the word "communist, but for some reason fucking fine with “Nazis” or “fascists”. Programming is fucking wack.

Yes indeed. I had this a lot when I was younger, it took some self-discovery and self-talk to work it out.
Silly as it sounds, it will take some time and practice to reprogram/decolonize your mind and feel normal about it. But on the bright side, that’s all it takes. :)
