Our local hospital has had peregrine falcons come back each year to nest over the last decade. I was so fortunate to have seen them flying around in the area.
But to see them up close like that is a real treat!
I used to work in a building that had them nesting right outside the main conference room. Watching the chicks take their first flight from 15 stories up was terrifying and exhilarating

Yeah, I can imagine! I tend to watch eagle and osprey cameras when baby chick are expected, and even through a screen you can experience a wide range of emotions!
