The Dalian Jinzhou Bay International Airport will be built on a man-made island off the northeast coast of China, NDTV reported. Covering an area of 20 square kilometers (7.7 square miles), it will surpass the sizes of both Hong Kong International Airport (12.48 square kilometers) and Kansai International Airport in Japan (10.5 square kilometers), both of which are also situated on artificial islands.

Listen, lad. I built this airport up from nothing. When I started here, all there was was swamp. Other countries said I was daft to build an airport on a swamp, but I built it all the same, just to show em. It sank into the swamp. So I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So I built a third one. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up! And that’s what you’re gonna get, lad: the strongest airport in these islands.

Well yeah it’s easy to build the artificial one. Let’s see them make the world’s largest real island airport!
