Imagine if the Catholic Church just gave away free healthcare in America? It would change its public image overnight. And probably get a few new followers for their trouble. But no one can count on humanity anymore; it isn’t profitable.

  I would absolutely overlook all the kid-diddling and genocide if the church could get me an advil for sure.
