Many theories floating about, that Apple’s used the M2 chip in the keynote because they were afraid of jeopardising their M2 lineup and just did it for simplicity, however I feel like the massive efficiency gains the M3 will have should definitely be considered in order to extend that battery life.

With the M3 chips right around the corner, it might feel odd releasing this device with the M2 chip next year.

What do we think? Will Apple keep the M2 next year or switch to the M3?

My opinion is that with the low volume of headsets that are expected to ship, and the benefits of using a more powerful and efficient chip, I think this will get a spec bump on launch at the same price, hopefully.
