Why should I pay attention to the national party? They have no power or redeeming features

A lot of the individual Democrats are worth paying attention to, and either have state-level power or maybe the capacity to sow enough discord among Republicans to block some actions in Congress

Yes some individuals are ok. Some state level stuff is ok.

The national party is a lost cause, and I think this will be seen more and more as fascism rises. A scapegoat will be needed; and here is one ready made. These individuals will be more hampered by the fallout than helped by the association.

IMO they’re already the party of Complicity, one or two scapegoats maybe, but the rest will fall in line hand wringing, oohing and awwing when the fascist cement their power.

The talking point ‘resistance’ as a political party is just for show, and everyone that plays the part gets their piece of the pie at the end of the day.

My opinion is that it is hard for very large human organizations to change, much less entrenched pro-business conservative parties.

The token left attached to it will remain unattractive to leftists because what can it do besides come up with nicknames for itself? And that’s when their party is in power
