It feels like all the cool websites from the late 2000s are gone. But maybe we are looking at this the wrong way. Maybe it is us who vanished.

Weirdly, because the population count is so small, Lemmy feels old web. Actually, sometimes it reminds me of an even older medium: the dial up BBS. And I say that in a nostalgic good way.
