I’m on hiatus before starting Cryptonomicon after nomming through Quicksilver + The Confusion + The System of the World - not for the first time. I’ve found this series to be better paced than Stephenson’s other work, which tends to be like a roller coaster (fast, unpredictable, exciting, over quickly).
