Summary

The American Bar Association (ABA) condemned Trump’s administration for disregarding the rule of law, urging courts and attorneys to push back.

ABA President William R. Bay criticized Trump’s rapid executive orders and restructuring of government agencies, including USAID’s dismantling.

He reminded the administration of the three coequal branches of government and praised a federal judge for blocking Trump’s executive order against birthright citizenship, emphasizing that the 14th Amendment guarantees this right.

Amid multiple lawsuits and government turmoil, Bay called on elected officials to defend legal norms, stating, “These are not partisan or political issues… We must stand up for the values we hold dear.”

Uh yeah? Last summer the highest court in the land essentially ruled that he doesn’t have to so long as he’s the president. Only Congress has the authority to stop him now through impeachment and conviction.

Every single one of those ecg-swasti-scribbles on an executive order will be pushed back as the presidential power authorized by the highest court prior to the election.
