I made a community on Lemmy.world called Wrong Takeaways that I’d like to move here as I’m trying to move away from such large instances.
The way I set it up is to post a movie cover or identifiable scene that correlates to the wrong takeaway. For instance, a wrong takeaway for Fight Club is that buying soap supports domestic terrorism. The Matrix: we don’t have payphones anymore because the machines wanted to get rid of exits.
Would setting it up here be ok?
