      I feel the same way, but the glamour only has its effect lost on us after certain experiences and ideology reminding us of its ugly side. If we dropped a farmer from 18th c. anywhere in the middle of times Square or Shibuya station, there’s no chance they won’t be in awe.

        A lot of people back then (and now, but back then too) believed in Hell. Before the devil with horns growing from his head overseeing a lot of burning and poking with pitchforks, it’s supposed to be separation from God. Give 'em two minutes to adapt and I think they’ll agree that it’s very, very far from God.
