This whole situation is absolutely fucking mortifying, genuinely. I can’t honestly think of another instance in which we’ve pulled such a rapid, bad-faith, ill-advised, and idiotic about face in terms of foreign policy.
Hopefully, he’ll have hurt and killed enough people that his popularity goes down somewhat. But he’s always gonna have the Nationalist Christians / Dominionists on his side - that needs to be addressed from a societal angle
