I have a Nikon D7100 and I am in love with my 35mm 1.8/f prime. On the crop sensor it gives such a natural image that I find myself using it over anything else. I am in the market for a new wide angle lens, something in the 12mm range, though.

My favorite lens varies…I shoot on a Fujifilm X-T2, currently the 16mm 1.4/f prime has been glued to it…before that it was the 56mm 1.2. I like the prime lenses, they make you work a bit more for the shots but they also have a lot more character IMO.
I have a Pergear 12mm 2/f that I use less than I anticipated, but it does come in handy in some spots (real estate photography and in some of the seascape shots when I was tucked in a tight location)
