Unrelated, but expected, there was a proudly displayed “Make america great again” red cap on the front, not visible because of the glass reflection. It is so weird how every owner of this kind of car I’ve seen has the exact personality I would expect. It’s just a car, and yet, it’s also a personality.

Anyway, there should be a sticker visible on the windshield right? If it is illegal is there a way to report it?

I realize now that I stupidly forgot to include the disabled sign in front of it. So I’m not sure that would be enough proof… Though you can still see the sign on the reflection of the super shiny metal (it’s also weird that I’ve never seen one of those dirty from off road driving).

    Typically it’s a municipal agency in charge of parking enforcement, they’ll have a number to call or more rarely an app. Though owning a Chrysler-Stellantis shitbox truck is punishment enough for whoever owns it. May the oil stains never leave their driveway.

    There’s a phone app called ‘SnapSendSolve’, you take a photo of someone doing something like this, blocking a driveway etc, and send it off. They send it to the appropriate people, cops, council, whoever. Your identity never comes into it.

    If they had a disability permit it’d be fine, the yellow lines are there for extra space. The permit should have been displayed somewhere visible though (typically the windscreen but I don’t know if that’s a requirement).

    If it were a council carpark you could report non-permitted use to the local council, being Bunnings it’s probably private land though so you’d have to find out whose responsible for their parking enforcement.

    I don’t know if you’re still on the spot, but I would get a picture that clearly shows the sign and let someone from Bunnings know. They should be able to contact whoever is in charge of the parking lot about it. And if not… Well.

      When I went back it was gone.

      I just wish I could punish this behavior. The sign was massive, there’s plenty of parking spots and there was enough space to park it properly. It just looks like people like this think they have special rights and don’t have to do a little extra effort.

      Plus I personally hate this kind of people, but mainly because it really looks like it was intentional and he thinks he’s above other people needs.
