With some hubs, you can put different grease in your hubs to quiet them down if you want.
I’ve read into it a little bit. Some mechanics say it’s possible but not good for the hub. I believe it’s best to get one engineered to be quiet
This was what I was talking about. The manufacturer offers two different “approved” lubricants for their hubs. On a budget, you get what you can get. You’re right though, if you want really quiet, get the ones made for it.
It’s interesting to hear the Hydra fairly quiet for what it is. It’s not really a hub one associates with wanting to be anything but loud haha
