In the face of overcrowding of Delta's Sky Club lounges, last year the airline limited lounge access to within 3 hours of departure. Then they made several more changes. But These measures haven't been enough.
Limiting the complimentary visits… I wonder how many people would actually drop their cards.
But based on the amount of people that don’t know if they have lounge access, I’m not sure how much this will change things.
The whole New York JFK being busy thing…. I think a huge percentage of Amex Platinum cardholders live here or travel in for work.
I could see limiting the generic platinum card to force people who are religious delta flyers to go get a Reserve if that’s unlimited, but limiting the visits of the Reserve does feel a little… punitive.
