Despite my executive disfunction, I find enjoyment in doing household chores; more so than I do with my job.
Plus, everything piling up over the week is what I find stressful. So I try very, very hard to do at least one thing a day, every day. At least that way, no matter how bad my executive disfunction gets, I can at least say I’ve done something.
Today my goals are;
- Take my dog to the park and walk around for a bit.
- Start cleaning up and see what it’ll take to fix my garage.
That’s it. If I end up doing more, then that’s icing on the cake. But at the very least, I want to be able to close my eyes tonight with some satisfaction.
~I know this is shitposting, but this gives me the excuse to verbalize my intentions and have the universe hold me accountable. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.~
You’ve inspired me :)
I hate doing any chores, but I have a bunch of other online things to do that I’ve been putting off.
As soon as I get my fix of caffeine and doomscrolling I’m going to
- Make a list of all the shit I need to do.
- If creating said list doesn’t completely overwhelm me, I’ll get something on the easy side of the list done.
Now, back to shitposting.
🤣
How’d it go?
Pretty bad actually lol. I did create my list, but failed at the easy thing to do.
One of the things I needed to do was pay a large chunk of money to a school. When I transferred money between accounts like I usually do, the money left my savings, but never hit my checking account… so now I have to stress about it until the bank opens in the morning. So meh.
I hope you were more productive than I was!
I can’t help you with stressing about the money. I’d be right there with you if I were in your shoes. But let me point something out I think you’ve overlooked: you completed the first item on your todo list;
- Make a list of all the shit I need to do.
So congrats! You did something today. 😁
yo fuck capitalism
God damn I felt this one in my soul
