I listen to a lot of audiobook and podcast for many years and has since branch out to audio drama. I discovered Midnight Burger a few months ago. Caught up with all the episodes and now patiently waiting for the monthly releases.

While looking for recommendations for show similar to Midnight Burger, I came across Desert Skies. I love the humour and the wholesomeness. It’s amazing that one person was responsible for putting together this whole show. I binged all the available episodes + Desert Skies FM. I had to wait almost a month for the last episode of season 1.

Now that the season finale came out, I found only the last few minutes of the episode feel cohesive with the rest of the series.

Was there a drop in the quality of the writing of Desert Skies S1 finale or was it just me? Did the month long wait lead to loosing the continuity feeling?

I have listened to 2-3 episode of Midnight Burger as they came out each month and did not have the same issue.

Do you prefer to listen to audio drama that has been completed or do you not mind waiting for the weekly/monthly episode drops?
