Fuck you lmao. Fun fact about lift spoilers, contrary to what you might intuit based on their orientation to the wing, these flaps actually reduce the vertical lift of the aircraft. They do however alter the attitude of the nose of the craft by causing it to rotate upward.

Wait, what? I thought it would be the other way. Are they behind the center line of the wing? (Not sure if that’s the correct terminology.) From the picture, I thought these were in front of it, since they’re in front of the flaps.
So they reduce lift but also rotate the craft so that the nose rises. The flaps being raised doesn’t cause the wings to generate lift, but the rotation induced via drag does cause it to rotate and thus the engines providing upward thrust. When you pull back on the stick in an aircraft the wing flaps go up. When you push forward they go down, this is how you orient the actual position of the aircraft. But when the flaps go up, they also reduce the velocity of the air going over the top of the wing creating higher pressure above than below which causes the loss of lift.
