It’s such an interesting monster, how its described as a sort of parasitical species of worms that churn the earth in such great numbers that the surface-side outskirts of their swarms are smote by the sun to create more ground cover for the swarm. Or that they themselves have been fossilized to the point their corpses turn into valuable resources to be exploited by a possible capitalist society where some robber baron Demon weighs the cost to profit ratios of unleashing them in a “controlled” manner for his exploited private contractor adventurer hirelings to throw themselves at to exploit these deposits for their potential resources.
And an adventure module could have you drop in as one of those brand new hirelings being carted in to replace expended human resources and you end up either setting off or watching some dweeb set off the entire strata releasing a swarm of fossils vampires large enough to threaten the entire merchant republic / kingdom / whatever region you’re in.
Beginning of paragraph: Vampires cannot die
2 sentences later: Vampires die in the sunlight

What is this from? Also, is there any account of how there were Precambrian vampires?
I don’t have a copy to give you greater lore. But from the title up in the corner, I found that it is an RPG called the Veins of the Earth.

My guess would be that you might be able to find a PDF on libgen or Anna’s Archive if you are interested.
Edit: It looks like it started out as an expansion of Lamentations of the Flame Princess, but it might have been made to be standalone now.
LofP is a very mixed bag - it was aiming for grimdark fantasy with sex and drugs and blah blah blah. Ended up with some real edgelord squick.
Veins of the Earth is well regarded though.
GOD I wanna get my hands on a copy of veins of the earth
The PDF is pretty easy to find on Anna’s Archive
