From what I heard there were a lot more problems with the indictment than the illegal appointment. Just for starters, the indictment signed by the jury foreperson was never actually shown to the grand jury or voted on in the form it was signed. Which would mean the indictment was never actually valid. Also, there’s strong evidence that they illegally used privileged information in the grand jury hearing.

This is what you get when you appoint someone who is not qualified for the job.

In this case, they tried to weaponize the law against an enemy and it didn’t work.

Let’s see what they do next. Do they drop it? Does he suddenly fall down some stairs or shoot himself in the back of the head three times? Basically, are they wannabe fascists or the real thing?

This indictment was insane. It had multiple problems that made it illegal. It was never actually passed by a grand jury, it was never presented in its final form to a grand jury and it was sought by someone without the legal authority to call a grand jury for an indictment.

Really sounded like he had his choice of reasons for dismissal here. Pick a number any number.

I think Comey is basically free and clear after this, as his charges were close to the statute of limitations upon filing iirc, for Letitia James’ charges I’m not sure on the details.
