They argue in bad faith, they are rude and generally unpleasant.
I saw a few brave souls having civil discussions even if they weren’t profitable. You’re better men than I am.
Not that I want to be rude. But when the conversation leaves the realm of ideas and becomes tactics and maneuvering to win points, then I am done.
I used to give a shit about being better than them, trying to be respectful and debate properly. I no longer care. They don’t do the same and they own every single fucking major online forum and discussion area. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Tumblr, most of Lemmy, the list in a mile long. They can say whatever they want and they will get applause. Meanwhile we are confined to 4chan and obscure lemmy instances.
Fuck them. I hope they all leave.
