I’m not a musician, so I used Suno to generate music, but I wrote the words. I’ve always had mixed feelings about veterans day. Love to hear any feedback. I also have a whole album of songs I’ve written about being a veteran that I can share if people like this. https://suno.com/song/df1c4e60-954e-4954-b407-3c94e04bf0c1

Nobody cares about your AI slop. If you can’t be bothered to learn music, just stick to writing poems.

Ok I’m gonna give a longer answer here than I probably should. Usually bullshit responses like this are best ignored, but this is actually something I’ve been thinking a lot about.

Imo ai slop would be just asking chat gpt for lyrics and pressing go, I want to be honest about what I did and didn’t contribute here. I wrote every one of the lyrics and told Suno how to style it then went through a lot of iterations to get the sound I wanted.

Feel free to read it as a poem if you prefer. Just don’t play the song, read the lyrics and be done. I think it’s better with music though. I spent a lot of time getting it to sound right. But I wanted honesty about what was and wasn’t me. I think this is the best approach because it lowers the bar for people to express their creativity while being clear where that creativity ends.

There is a lot of ai slop out there. Just look at YouTube. I dislike it because it has no real substance. You can like my lyrics or not but they are written by a real human and have something real to say.
