      I’m assuming that they meant Mayo was used in place of butter on the outsides of the sandwich before cooking. Not sure though.

      I used a light spread of mayonnaise on the inside, butter spread on the outside. I was against it until my wife made me try it and now I can’t have it without the mayo.
