Hello, I’m interested in hearing some fun vegan recipes that aren’t too complicated/take less than 30 minutes to cook. A lot of what I make is pretty intensive so I wanted to hear some good ideas for stuff that isn’t if you guys wouldn’t mind sharing.

I’ll definitely try both of those. I don’t cook with lentils very much because my family doesn’t often like them but I definitely will try that next time I want to make something easy. And I’ll try the dahl too at some point. Thanks!

The word दाल(daal) is a Hindi word used for both the raw lentils/pulses and the cooked dish. It’s a good source of protein and very easy to cook if you have an instant pot or a pressure cooker. Pair it with rice & some salad and voila! You’ve got a hearty and healthy meal which is light on the pocket.

Dal also refers to split or split and skinned beans and peas as opposed to gram which is whole beans.
