My personal fave is I’ve Got You Under My Skin by Oripoke, it’s a total AU (with an explanation at some point) but it’s super cute and it kind of follows the cadence of the game in ways I don’t really want to spoil. The character work is absolutely excellent, the romance aspect is incredible, and it’s just one of those stories where it doesn’t sound like it makes a lot of sense but it really does.

There’s also All The Scars You Cannot See by VengeSim, a total classic. It’s a very similar premise to the comics but it’s far better executed, and remains focused on Max and Chloe all the way through.

I’ve also heard great things about Escaping The Light from Omnicyde, although I haven’t got a chance to read it yet.

Also, if you’re looking for some one-shots, don’t miss biting down by venividivigor, it’s some of the cutest stuff I’ve ever read.
