Genuine question: Why do we want gapless folding phones? If something gets in between the screens (like sand or something) and then you put your phone in a pocket isn’t that going scratch a lot easier? I’m hoping to get a folding phone for my next device so I’m curious.
i think the idea is that when there is a gap, there is more likelihood for little things to get in there in your pocket and scratch things up. also, the gapless design doesnt mean it is usually screen directly on screen, but the outside border touch and close fully allowing no dirt to get in
