Just picked myself a cheaper- experiment hammock to see if I would like it being my nightly sleep choice. Problem is, I don’t have access to much in terms of installation.

So far I’ve tried just taking two screws to each side of the hammock and pinching each robe to the wall. Every time I’ve tried to put my weight on it, I’ll get to about 80% and it will slip off.

Let me state clearly, the screws are not ripping out the wall. I did the knock test to find a stud, and I got one well enough that each screw could not be individually ripped out with my hands. I would also try to pull the rope out.

Is there a decent solution that can keep my hammock up until I can actually go get some equipment? I would really like to be able to sleep on it tonight.
