Our (software) customers are always asking us if we can pull performance data from Isilon in support of identifying data sets (files) that require varying (high) degrees of iops and causing performance issues/maybe should be moved to a higher tier of storage.

From the little I know on the topic, older versions of Isilon don’t offer much in the way of looking at files performance stats or identifying files causing performance issues

Given that Isilon is one big bucket of storage, is there a way to accomplish this? Is there a good read you can link to? Thank you!
